Thank you for taking the
time to visit Squeenus Dot Com -- Purveyors of Fine
Photographic Images From 2003 to 2009.
Squeenus is actually the home to a small number of endeavors:
Squeenus Dot Com is the home of the organization itself. (In the words of a wonderfully typo'd hotel map we once saw, "You are here. In event of emergency, remain clam.")
JCW.squeenus.com is the home for my personal photography. This work is all (I think? no guarantees!) worksafe. But if you work for a prude, well, you know the deal.
FZR.squeenus.com is the home of FrozenRhino Photography -- my work that focuses on enhancing positive body image in plus-size women by using photography to show them just how beautiful they can be. Mostly it's figures and art photography. Beware -- here there be bodies. Some of them bare. Most of them female. So you know -- make sure the boss isn't around.
Dissoi-Logoi.com and Hemlock Studios is the home of Dissoi-Logoi, a site dedicated to the photo essay and long-form art photography portfolio. The Story Is Everything. (note: this project is on hold. apparently "if you build it, they will come" only works for baseball. but I really do want to get this going.)
Phlogiston.squeenus.com is a nascent photoblog (as of April 2009) -- something designed to keep me shooting and posting new photos. Ok, stop laughing. Let's be honest. It's a self-indulgent exercise in futility. But I'm going to give it an honest try.
Sketchpad.squeenus.com is where I'll put brand new photos. Could be just one. Could be a bunch. They won't be up long. Hell, the domain may not exist long. But I need a place to point people to see photos and well, this is it.
2xCreative.squeenus.com is my collaboration with award-winning sci-fi author Brenda Cooper, in support of the 2xCreative project led by Kyle Cassidy.
If I sent you a postcard and you're wondering who what where why, for more information about anything on the site, or to drop me a friendly critique (or even a "dude, your photos suck") just drop me an email using the link at the bottom of the page.
Parts of the site(s) are under construction, and some are updated daily so please feel free to look around.
